Message you drop the ignition timing, you're gonna melt pistons. Do you realize how many cars are running my ECU built on this theory? How many combined miles of normal mode and safe mode configurations a 13 year old Z32 with my program has been through? And how many of those have pistons with holes melted through them?

Answer:
400+ ECUs to date
2.4 million miles estimated
Zero melted pistons

And not to mention my programs are putting down more power than JWT?

Perhaps in an extreme case of timing retard you will experience what that gentleman is proposing, but I'm not sure if that's just an ill fetched logial conclusion or if he has empirically performed that test and isolated the cause solely to the reason he is concluding. As far as I'm concerned the basis of his claim is unfounded in the realm of what our cars are doing with my program in them.
